Must-do summer activities at the ZooParc
What are the must-do activities at the ZooParc de Beauval during the summer? The sea lion and bird shows are a must! Come admire and applaud the agile sea lions in the Odyssée des Lions de Mer show in the spectacular setting of the aquatic amphitheatre. And be sure not to miss the spectacular Maîtres des Airs show, in which you will see hundreds of birds in action in a vast theatre full of greenery. Marvel at the impressive flight of the birds of prey and the beauty of the parrots and enjoy a truly out-of-the-ordinary experience!
Shaded areas, misters… Our tips for keeping cool!
Enjoy the park’s greenery, which provides some welcome shade. Come and cool off along our shaded walkways, under the huge leaves of our exotic plants, and beneath our tall trees. Wander along the covered walkways and enjoy the shade, or cool off under the water misters, which run almost continuously. A good misting will make you feel great, so make sure to stop for some truly refreshing breaks! You will find them at the 2 cable car stations (Lions and Elephants) as well as in 4 zones: giant pandas, cheetahs, bongos, and near the Chimpanzee and Orangutan Greenhouse. Take a break for lunch: our indoor dining areas are air-conditioned, while the outdoor terraces allow you to enjoy the fresh air!

The animals were all cute and well looked after. There were many opportunities to learn about the animals. I recommend going to see both shows as they showcase the many talents these animals have.

An amazing space filled with excitement for all. The environment is enticing, esthetically pleasing.
Practical advice on how to make the most of your visit
Want to know some tips to make your visit to Beauval truly exceptional? We recommend that you download the ZooParc de Beauval mobile application before your visit. It’s a very useful personal guide to make sure you don’t miss out on anything. Another tip to give your family an even more special experience: book one of our fun and educational activities for young and old. Some unforgettable experiences are awaiting you, such as the “Keeper for a Day” activity which offers special encounters with the animals for all ages. The “First steps as a zookeeper” activity, for children aged 6 to 10, also guarantees some eye-opening experiences!
Eating at the ZooParc: something for everyone
The ZooParc de Beauval has 16 eateries spread throughout its 45 hectares, ensuring that you are always just a few minutes’ walk from somewhere to eat. During busy periods, we advise you to have lunch before 12:30 p.m. or after 2 p.m. What are the best places to eat during the summer, including for families with children? Out of the 16 options, we’ve selected 4 for you, but the others are great too: the delicious buffet at the Yasuni in the Equatorial Dome, the succulent burgers at the Kilimanjaro, not far from the Hippopotamus Reserve, the wraps and other Swedish breads at the Etosha, which you can enjoy on a shady terrace overlooking the elephants, and finally the sandwiches, paninis and other salads at the Eucalyptus, where your children can hop aboard the merry-go-round! You can also picnic outside the ZooParc, in dedicated shaded areas located at both entrances. Finally, we advise you to check which eateries are open and which are closed on the day of your visit on our website or app.
At the ZooParc de Beauval, there are no unpleasant surprises: everything is included in the entry ticket price. Some activities have an extra charge, but you are made aware! There is no additional charge for shows, educational activities, the 'Nuage de Beauval’ cable car ride over the park, or the visit to the Equatorial Dome. It’s all inclusive!
